ERCOT Interconnection Queue
The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) manages the interconnection queue for roughly 90% of Texas's electric load on its islanded grid.
The interXdata canonical warehouse currently tracks 1,980 interconnection requests in the ERCOT footprint, representing 391,109 MW of requested capacity. Of these, 161 are active and 613 have reached commercial operation.

Methodology & sources
Counts aggregate current canonical project records whose market region is ERCOT. Status is normalized to a five-value vocabulary (active, operational, withdrawn, suspended, unknown). Capacity is the primary requested MW per project. Withdrawn and operational projects are retained as historical records.
Provenance: Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory — Queued Up interconnection dataset. Values are normalized from public source records into the interXdata canonical warehouse; see each source for original filings.
Receive a weekly summary of new, withdrawn, and materially changed projects in ERCOT.
